Welcome to my elementary school blog and photo gallery. During the week of March 1-5, we celebrated Dr. Seuss' 106th birthday along with Read Across the Planet. Everyone enjoyed
participating in the various 
daily activities. 
Students donned hats on hat day, wore crazy socks, along with green and animal print clothing. On Friday morning students enjoyed a breakfast of "green eggs and ham" served by our wonderful cafeteria ladies while wearing sunglasses. Could they really see what they were eating? Most students agreed that "Who" Hair Day was their favorite day. Daily prizes of bookmarks and pencils were given to each student and a grand prize drawing was held on the final day of the birthday celebration. Grand prizes included collector's editions of several Dr. Seuss books and Seuss themed stuffed animals. A six foot, inflatable birthday cake was housed in the library. Each grade level also decorated their classroom door and they all looked great!
